‘I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me…I have other sheep that are not of this sheepfold. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd’ (John 10.14,16).

A beautiful sunrise greeted those gathered together at the appropriately named Christ Cross for an Easter Sunrise service. The service, which was organised by Bradninch and Silverton churches, attracted more than 100 people from the local area and further afield, and was followed by a lovely breakfast. Our thanks to all the organisers.
Congratulations to Fergus and Ewan who were baptised on Sunday. A day made extra special by the fact that they were baptised by their grandad.

There’s lots of festive music and singing coming up at St Disen’s. Firstly, this Friday, 15th December, we have an evening of Carols by Candlelight starting at 7.30pm, with organist Alex West and the St Disen’s Christmas Choir. On Monday, 18th December it’s a Celebration of Christmas with the Bradninch Festival Choir. Both start at 7.30pm and come with mulled wine and mince pies. And next Wednesday, 20th December there will be an evening of beer and carols in The Castle pub, starting at 8.00pm.
