St Disen’s Hall was originally built as a school for the poor children of the parish in 1838 but subsequently became a Sunday School. It was restored in 1908 when the ‘Strong Room’ was added in memory of Revd Strong, vicar of Bradninch from 1876-1888.
The hall is available for hire by groups and individuals for regular or one-off occasions and events. Please contact Fenny at bookings@stdisens.org.uk for more information.
On Wednesday mornings you’ll find a warm welcome as we invite you to join us for refreshments in the hall from 10.00am until midday (during the winter months we stay open until 2.00pm with the added option of a soup and sandwich lunch). You’ll find a warm, free, safe community space, all free to all.
And every third Tuesday of the month we host Knit and Natter from 2.00pm. Come along with your knitting or other craft, or just come along for a natter and a cup of tea.
