The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into effect in May2018 affects how we keep and use your personal information.  This statement sets out in brief what information we hold about you, why we hold it, how we protect it and how it can be removed from our files if you so wish.

The information we hold about you could include the information you give us for the Electoral Roll, Gift Aid, envelope and planned giving schemes, for banns and baptism application forms, or forms that you complete for particular fundraising events.

We keep information for as long as we need it and/or is legally required for the purposes for which it was collected.  This will vary depending on the type of information and the reason for which it was collected. 

We do not share your personal information with anyone unless legally required to do so, or we have asked your permission to do so.

We will only contact you in respect of the reasons for which you gave us your information and/or in our legitimate interests to let you know about forthcoming services and events and how you can help St Disen’s Church, .

You have the right to see what information we hold about you and to ask for that information to be removed (if legally allowed).
