What’s On: January

Happy New Year.

We start 2025 with a service of Holy Communion this Sunday, 5th January at 9.00pm.  This will be followed by our All Age Service at 10.30am.  Refreshments will be served in the Church Hall in between the two services, from 9.45am.

On Sunday 12th January we have a service of Holy Communion and on Sunday 26th January it will be Morning Praise.  Both are at 10.30am with refreshments served in the church hall afterwards.

In between, on Sunday 19th January, 10.30am, we’ll be hosting another Café Church bringing the hospitality of Wednesday Welcome and Sunday coffee times to worship. It’s worship in the church hall around tables (or on sofas!) with space for conversation and community, complete with pastries and drinks.

Our midweek groups for exploring and growing in faith start again this month. Roots, which combines learning from the Bible with time in prayer, worship, discussion and fellowship, is in the Church Hall on Wednesday evenings from 15th January at 7.30pm.  Come and See is the place for exploring the Christian faith and starts again at The Rectory on Thursday, 23rd January at 8pm.

Our monthly Knit and Natter is on Tuesday 21st January, in the church hall from 2.00pm. You are welcome to bring along any craft, not just knitting or just come and enjoy a natter and a cuppa.

You can be sure of a warm welcome at our Wednesday Welcome, in the church hall every Wednesday (apart from 1st January), from 10.00am-2.00pm.  As well as hot and cold drinks and home baking, we will also be serving soup and sandwiches for lunch.  So plenty of time to meet friends, make new ones, or have some quiet time to yourself. A warm, safe space, free to all.
