October at St Disen’s begins with a seasonal celebration of Harvest on the evening of Saturday 3rd October. The evening starts at 6.00pm with a concert by the Ad Hoc choir followed by a pasty supper. See poster for more details, including how to order your pasty.
On Sunday 4th October we have a traditional service of Holy Communion at 9.00am followed by Café Church in the hall at 10.30am. Refreshments will be available in the hall from about 9.45am.
There are services of Holy Communion and Morning Praise on 11th and 25th October respectively. Both are at 10.30am followed by refreshments in the hall. In between, there is Café Church with Communion on 18th October in the church hall.
Our monthly Knit and Natter is on Tuesday 20th October, in the church hall from 2.00pm. Bring along any craft, not just knitting or just come and enjoy a natter and a cuppa.
Wednesday Welcome moves to its winter hours of 10.00am until 1.00pm from 7th October. As well as refreshments and home baking, soup and sandwiches will be available from midday. A warm, safe space, free to all, Wednesdays, in the church hall.
