Our services for June begin with Holy Communion at 9.00am on Sunday 7th June, followed by Café Church in the Church Hall at 10.30am. Refreshments will be served from 9.45am. Café Church is a time for coffee with God. It brings the hospitality of Wednesday Welcome and Sunday coffee times to worship. It’s worship around tables (or on sofas!) with space for conversation and community, complete with pastries and drinks.
It’s the Bradninch Music Festival from 11th-14th June and St Disen’s is playing its part. On the evening of Friday 12th we have the Daria Kulesh Trio singing in church from 6.30pm. At lunchtime on Saturday 13th it’s Classically Bradninch, a concert featuring some of our talented local musicians and Bradninch Voices. That’s at 1.00pm. Then in the early evening, at 6.00pm we’ll be at The Castle for Beer & Hymns. There’s no service in church on Sunday 14th. Instead we’ll be on the cricket field for Festival Praise at 10.30am. Refreshments will be available on the cricket field on the Saturday and Sunday afternoons at the Tea of Galilee.
On Sunday 21st June we’re back in the church hall for Café Church and on Sunday 28th June we have a service of Holy Communion at 10.30am, followed by refreshments in the church hall.
Our monthly Knit and Natter is on Tuesday 16th June, in the church hall from 2.00pm. Bring along any craft, not just knitting or just come and enjoy a natter and a cuppa.
You can be sure of a warm welcome at our Wednesday Welcome in the church hall every Wednesday from 10.00am until midday with refreshments and home baking. A warm, safe space, free to all.
Looking forward to July, on Sunday 5th we will be hosting a special service in church celebrating another year of KidZone, our after school children’s club at the Duchy Primary School. The service takes place at 10.30am, instead of our usual Café Church. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the church hall.
