What’s On: May

Our services for May begin with Holy Communion at 9.00am on Sunday 3rd May, followed by Café Church in the Church Hall at 10.30am. Refreshments will be served from 9.45am. Café Church brings the hospitality of Wednesday Welcome and Sunday coffee times to worship. It’s worship around tables (or on sofas!) with space for conversation and community, complete with pastries and drinks.

We also regularly hold a Café Church on the third Sunday of the month. For May this will be on the 17th.

We have a service of Holy Communion on Sunday 10th May and Morning Praise on Sunday 24th. Both are at 10.30am, followed by refreshments in the church hall. Our Morning Praise will be led this month by Revd Sam Randall and her team.

Our monthly Knit and Natter is on Tuesday 19th May, in the church hall from 2.00pm.  Bring along any craft, not just knitting or just come and enjoy a natter and a cuppa.

You can be sure of a warm welcome at our Wednesday Welcome in the church hall every Wednesday from 10.00am until midday with refreshments and home baking. A warm, safe space, free to all.

On Friday 15th May there is a concert by Duo Tutti in the church at 7.30pm. Duo Tutti will be performing music for flute and piano, both familiar and unusual, from their album ‘Dances and Dreams’ which was recorded in St Disen’s Church in April 2025. Refreshments will be served during the interval. Tickets are £10, available from www.bradninchguildhall.org.uk/box-office. A Bradninch Music Festival Fundraiser.

The Saturday Coffee Morning in The Guildhall on 30th May will be in aid of Kidzone, our after school children’s club at the Duchy Primary School.
